Number of classes to graduate

Hi,

How many classes do you need in order to graduate? And do you become a licenced minister?

Good question Raymond!

You need 72 units to graduate from VETI. That's 24 classes @ 3 units each. The 24 classes MUST include the Core Courses which are the classes listed in Bold on the course list. You just don't want to take a lot of elective courses. You need the core courses. Click here for the course list: http://alturl.com/f9qf If you were to take 3 courses each Quarter, (Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer) you can graduate in two years.

You can really speed things up by taking online courses. Online courses are only 7 weeks long but are a little more intense (like a mini intensive course) since it going from 10 weeks to 7 weeks. When taking an online course, you should plan on spending at least 3-6 hours per week of study to complete all assignments.

As you know there is a special promotion for online courses. The price is only $100 instead of $125. If you're planning on taking an online courses, now would be a good time.

Few more questions. Once you're graduated, do you become licenced minister? Within Victory Outreach? I heard there was a Fast Track....what is that?

I tried going on vetionline.com, and registering my email to look at the content of the courses, but it does not provide a place for me to register. Can you assist?

Thirdly, I saw a list of books that are needed for the courses. Where can I buy those books? Through Veti?

Raymond, if you feel called to the ministry, the first thing you should do is tell your Pastor. Then, make sure you stay close to him and be involved in ministry. Part of the licensing process is to be a graduate from V.E.T.I. You are on the right track. There is no fast track in ministry. We do have intensive courses which are course taught in one full day. If you want to be strong and be around for a long time, it takes time. To grow squash, it takes just a few weeks. To grow redwood tree's it takes years - but, they will be around for a long long time. Be patient, be persistent, prepare yourself and pursue your call. Don’t let anything get you down. But they key is to stay in the mix, and be prayed up.

The only way to log into VETI Online is to be a registered student. To view the courses available and course descriptions click on the registration link. It will take you to the list of courses available and their description.

The books required for all courses are listed on the veti network. If you look on the bottom of the list you will see two links where you can find them at very good prices. The links are: http://isbn.nu/ and http://www.oclc.org/worldcat/ You can also find these book on ebay.com half.com amazon.com and other web based book sites. You can also find them in some local Christian bookstores.
