My husband and I now teaching our Life Group, I enjoy: Public Relations/Government and Community Affairs, Spokes-person for Civic Affairs, Grants Research,City Liaison for all High Desert, travel as possible! I enjoy and have a passion for people. Helping our Pastor with latest information from Wa.,DC "What's Available to all Faith Based Organizations". Keeping updated and informed regarding our Cities!

Public Relations/Government-Community Affairs is my Gift, Spokes-person for Civic Affairs, I also conduct Grants Research, I am the Liaison for our Church in Victorville, and between our Cities in High Desert, travel when possible! Passion for people!

TO ALL SEEKING EMPLOYMENT AND OR TRAINING. EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 17, 2009 PRESIDENT OBAMA SIGNED THE ACT THAT WOULD ALLOW INDIVIDUALS THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEEK TRAINING. WHAT WAS ONCE CALLED THE JTPA AND OR WIA PROGRAMS IS NOW AVAILABLE. CHECK WITH YOUR LOCAL EDD (EMPLOYMENT DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT).

AND OR IF ANYONE HAS HAD A FELONY OR YOUR RECORD IS NOT UP TO PAR, CHECK WITH YOUR PAROLE AGENT FOR THESE FREE PROGRAMS. REFERENCES: The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

HELP! I'VE GOT ONE TEENAGER TO GO....

Never pictured myself raising "one more" Teenager! In today's world it is even more of a challenge! Once a child who loved Church, and God, so enjoyed being around his Christian peer's now say's he "hates" it all! What is a mother to do? Besides the obvious...Prayer, and more Prayer! How do you reach them without 'Preaching in the face"? Please pray for my son...15yrs. old.

At 10:45pm on August 26, 2009, Myra Marquez said…: All is going well, I'm getting ready to teach an 11 week course called Teaching Children Effectively Level 1 starting Aug 30-Nov 8 at First Baptist Church-Hesperia. On Sept 5 I'm off to Ft Irwin to teach a Super Seminar. I was at VOV this past Sunday I didn't see you. My niece is moving up here next month she was let go from her job she had for over ten years. If you know of any job opening let me know. She worked for a bank, and was toward the end of an Assistant Nursing Program when our govenor cut the fund and closed it down.

At 7:15pm on June 3, 2009, Myra Marquez said…: Hi Mrs M, I will be teaching a 5-Day Club training June 15-19. A 5-Day Club is just like a VBS in a church except it is held at your home. for five days Monday - Friday for one and a half hours. You can come to the training or host a club in your home. We help you invite all the kids in your neighborhood to hear a Bible story, learn a Memory verse, Sing songs, and hear a missionary story. An invitation to receive Christ Jesus is given each day. You get to meet the parents of the kids and invite them to your church. You will be the light house for Christ in your neighborhood. The 5-Day Clubs are fun. We have trained teachers who can come to your house and teach the 5-Day Club or you can take the training and teach the club yourself. If you have teenagers who are interested in missions this would be way for them to get experience. We teach How to Lead a Child to Christ. Ask Pastor Rick he knows about Child Evangelism Fellowship and Sister Martha the V.O. children's director will be having a training at her house on June 27 at 3 pm

At 4:50pm on June 1, 2009, Myra Marquez said…: Hi sister I noticed you said that you were taking classes at a Univerity. Were are you attending and what are you studying? I would like to get my Bachlors but it would have to be an online course. I thought V.E.T.I. was an accredited course but it is not. My daughter just finished her Nursing School at Victory Valley College. Her graduation is Saturday June 6 at the Assemlies of God Church in Victorville. She is now a Registered Nurse and hopefully will be working at St Mary's She works there now on the lift team. Her husband works there also in the ER. My son Daniel just started working for Heap's Peak Helitic. He is a Wildland firefighter on a helicoper. He worked with Mill Creek Hotshots for a couple of years. I am getting ready to teach a 5-Day Club training it should start on June 15. A 5-Day Club is like a VBS only in your home for the kids on your block who do not attend church. It is for one weed M- F for 1 1/2 hours. It is a good way to meet your neighbors and then invite them to your church. I will be teaching 5-Day Clubs in Hesperia. If you would like one in your home let me know. Training will be in June and the clubs will be held in July. Hope to meet you in person soon.

I enjoyed the worship service and the message that was given. It sure was good to see all the people that I haven't see for over two years. What kind of support group do you have on Thursday morning and where do you live. I am taking the online VETI class the book of Acts. Are you taking an onine class also?
